Our Storytelling Roots Run Deep
After more than 15 years creating TV Shows, Commercials, Documentaries and Brand Films, we decided it was time to make something that we could really sink our teeth into. In that moment, TasteFrame was born and our creative palates were changed forever.
Most of us cut our teeth in the storytelling world at our sister company, JTWO – a hybrid creative full-service production company + marketing agency. You name it, we’ve most likely created it. From television shows to package design to billboards, our creative team has run the creative gauntlet a few times over. Sure, we’ve won plenty of awards for our work, or we wouldn’t be any good at what we do. More importantly, we’ve won the hearts and minds of the people we’ve broken bread with over the years. Our clients became friends, our friends became clients, and eventually some of us stopped asking why not and started asking why not sooner? That’s when we jumped headfirst into the food + beverage + hospitality world with open arms and it embraced us back. We love this world and we think we are going to play in it for awhile.
A CHEF’S JOURNEY
// MEET SCOTT //
“Twelve o’clock to twelve o’clock”, my chef asserted. “Taste in a circle so everything can be balanced.” He professed that the art of cooking lies in a perfect harmony of flavors, textures, and temperatures. It is the superb bite that boosts all its components. I continue to carry that same philosophy. Greatness comes from a balance of all its essential parts. “Twelve to twelve.”
I grew up at the end of an old mahogany bar nestled in my family’s restaurant. By the age of twenty, I was running my own kitchen working alongside the most unique of characters. I loved every minute of it until I didn’t. The sheer lunacy of the kitchen life demanded a change. At that moment in my life, I am not sure I truly grasped its seduction. So, I took an internship at a video production agency, awakening my love of storytelling.
However, in 2023, my own story took an unpredictable turn. I was rushed to the hospital and discovered I had a brain tumor. Only then was I willing to revel in the mysterious love affair with food again, determined to do it my way. Life is capricious, but nothing brings people together quite like food and good company. So I partnered with longtime friends at JTWO and together we formed TasteFrame. A food, beverage, and hospitality-focused company built by former industry workers, passionate epicureans, and award-winning filmmakers.
